Well I've been up for an hour already and now I'm sitting here naked typing up this entry (just for you) before going to work for 8 hours.

Am I annoyed by this?

Why yes I am. It's Saturday. I'm supposed to be SLEEPING, dammit! Doesn't the world know this?


Okay, Nicole has definitely made the list now. She's so on the list, right below O-Town and right above my 10th grade algebra teacher. Oh damn is the list getting long. I have a lot of people I hate right about now.

On a completely different note...oh my GOD work was HELL today.

See, I got there early, around 8:30. And hell was breaking loose because at approximately 4am this morning a pipe burst in the wall of the store, pouring water all over the floor and underneath the floor. My one boss, who lives above the store, heard water running and started looking around upstairs and then came downstairs only to find about a half a foot of water all over the store. He proceeded to start dragging merchandise out of the store, turning off the water, and trying to push water out of the store. We were still doing it when I got there. We were still doing it at 10:30 this morning. We opened at 8 because it's a Saturday in early March and it's 70 degrees. We had no choice. It was just horribly busy and crappy because we didn't have water for much of the morning and we were sliding all over the place and no matter what, we always found more water seeping up under the islands. Apparently, the lovely plumbers who did the plumbing in the building didn't use the metal stiffeners inside the PVC pipes that are used to prevent pipes from bursting. And to top it off, if the one that burst wasn't done right, the chances of the other three main pipes being done wrong is pretty much 100%. So yeah. Crappy. Plus, I had to work all day with the sister and a ragging backache that ended only because my boss gave me Darvacet. (or whatever it's called). I still can't really feel my legs.

So tonight, I'm hanging out with Brielle, Waryne, Mike, and Karen so far. We don't really know what we're doing but I am going out. Waryne wants to go to Philly but well, it's supposed to pour and it's no fun to wander the city in the pouring rain so who knows. But we're going out! That makes me feel oddly proud being I can't seem to go out very easily lately. I need to shower and clean up because I am just so dirty and stinky from work today. Nothing like stagnant water to make you want to shower.
