I'm in a lot of pain right now. My left ear and left, lower wisdom tooth have decided to team up and cause me great pain. It's just throbbing pain on the whole left side of my face. I can barely open my mouth. Fucking A. Not cool at all.

[cries]

Why don't I have drugs?

I'm very lethargic and I can't really hear out of my left ear. Today is going to rock! Mom dug out some old amoxicillin that expired oh, a year ago, and shoved it down my throat. I'm sorry, I refuse to go to the ER for an EAR INFECTION! I'll take the freakin' old pills until tomorrow and hope I get a little bit of relief.

My bedroom is a complete and utter disaster area. I am actually forcing myself NOT to clean because I know it's just a procrastination thing no matter how much it needs to be done. Which I don't have time for. Maybe once today and tomorrow are over, I'll have time. Yes. That sounds good.

Plan on working on Grammar, Civ, and the take-home final today. The paper has been pushed back to it's actual due date since there's no way I can get it done as well today. Rewards will be in the form of 15 minutes of Stargate or a section of Francesca's Nature series. And tonight, if all has gone well, rewards will be in the form of Dayse, scrabble, and FOTR. See. The plan is quite detailed at this point.

Oh, and I have to keep myself connected in case Mariel IM's me. Honest. I really do have a reason for staying online besides my own love for it. Also, am listening to an interesting mix of Tom Waits's Alice, Christina's Stripped, and Marilyn Manson's Holywood. Trust me. It's a weird combo, but I think I like it.

My brain hurts from all the grammar I've done today.

Brain: [smushes]
Me: [drools]
Jack and Daniel: [kiss]
Me: wuh?
Jim and Blair: [laugh]
Chris and JC: [lick]
Brain: gerund?
Me: [falls over]

So...I think it's time to switch and start working on Western Civ for the rest of the evening. If I haven't learned participles yet, I'm not going to learn them by tomorrow. Oh, just look how upset I am about that.

Hey, when did CDNow become part of Amazon?

I'm done for now. I can't write anymore. I can't diagram anymore. I can't attempt to make up answers to the essay questions when I'm really, really unfamiliar with the subject matter. See, I love history, I really do. Only, I love wars. Recent wars. Civil War on pretty much. That's the stuff that interests me. And yes, I understand how all of this plays a part in what happens afterwards. I just can't stand it. The Reformation bores me. I don't care much about the Age of Expansion. The Middle Ages make me want to take a nap. But hand me a book on WWII and I'm happy as a clam. Or you know, go back a few thousand years and let me play in Egypt and that area and I'm happy as well. Or Jewish history. Love that stuff.

Part of the reason I think I have so many problems with European history is because of studying Jewish history so much. The repeated persecution, being driven from our homes, the blame placed on the Jews for just about everything - it colours my view of Christianity during these time periods so much that I can't seem to get past that block and analyze the material. This is why I could never be a historian. I am way too biased.

In other words, I'm done for now. I'm going to work a bit on my SS story interspersed with some crazy!daniel stuff, continue reading Curiousity Killed the Colonel by Pepe, and play with Dayse. Oh, and continue to listen to pop music and various other musical forms.
