Today is day one of school. I purposely scheduled myself with late afternoon/early evening classes because that's when I'm most effective. So, I don't have class earlier then 2 all week. Yay! I can sleep in everyday if I want. This is very important to me.

And hee! The whole hallway scene where Jim and Blair are running through different doors to evade the police is really damn funny.

Now, back to our regularly scheduled blabbering.

Today's classes are Creative Writing II and Seminar I: Film and Fiction. I should be home by 5:30 or so and then I'm going to grab some coffee with Chrissy tonight. And Mariel is in Creative Writing. Sweet. She's a nice girl and it's always nice to know someone in a class you're iffy about. Stupid Rowan changing teachers on me. [grumbles] Hopefully that's the last time I will grumble about that.

I am now finished 17 of 34 parts of YBR. In theory, I will be done it within the next month. Not bad since I haven't posted anything in that fandom since November. I feel so unproductive. Of course, there hasn't been any really good stuff posted in SG fandom for a long time. I second Destina's impassioned plea for more good SG fic. It's been a long time. More fic! Please! I'd like to read in my main fandom once in awhile instead of just reading lots of TS fic.

And now I go back to watching TS and drinking my morning coffee. Then I'll shower and get dressed and ready to go. And eat at some point. Mmm...food. I like food. It makes me happy and full.

I know I talked to a number of people recently who were big fans of Dr. Mitchell. I told them that he was sick and most likely not coming back this semester. I found out today that he died on Jan. 3rd. I don't have any information beyond that at this point in time.

I never had the man as a teacher, but I heard so much good stuff about him. I know he'll by missed by many.
