lots of random, random things including lists!

Year end roundup of lots 'o stuff.

First off, the ds_seekritsanta fics have been revealed! I wrote Beauty in the Breakdown which is post-CotW fic where Ray and Fraser were forced apart, but see each other every few months while Fraser gets a huge tattoo of wings on his back. It was for stormymouse and I'm happy to know that she enjoyed it. :)

Now the fic roundup... 24 fics plus 1 yuletide fic that I can't reveal at this point because naming the fandom would make it obvious which fic I wrote. ;)

Next I was going to do my top 10 albums, but when I made the list, I realized I didn't have 10. So here's the top seven.

1. Mesmerize/Hypnotize - System of a Down
2. The Beekeeper - Tori Amos
3. The High Cost of Low Living - The Hugh Dillon Redemption Choir
4. Guero - Beck
5. With Teeth - Nine Inch Nails
6. The Legend of Johnny Cash - Johnny Cash
7. Extraordinary Machine - Fiona Apple

*shrugs* So any suggestions of good albums that came out this year, go ahead and shoot them my way. And yes, I know Mesmerize and Hypnotize were two albums, but they count as one in my book. The majority of the albums I bought this year were reissues or older albums. I don't listen to the radio anymore so I tend to miss the new stuff if they're not albums by artists I'm already fond of. What did I listen to a lot this year besides these? A lot of Headstones, David Bowie, Seal, more Beck, SoaD, Tori, Nine Inch Nails, Eminem, The Beatles, U2, and N.E.R.D.


I'm not even going to attempt movies or books. I didn't see enough movies or read enough books to make a list. I could do top ten BPAL scents of the year. What the hell. This list doesn't include a few of my favourites because they weren't released this year.
