update stuff
i feel like my brain is going to leak out of my ears aaaaany moment now. *groans* i've had a headache since yesterday when i woke up, but i was hoping sleep would banish the sucker. apparently not. and it's not a bad headache, it's just that persisent, going to make your brain leak out of your ears type of headache. not cool at all. i'm feeling very sluggish because of that. my fingers don't seem to want to work.
i got a massive amount of bpal packages last night as well as a package of lush and some makeup. of course because of said low-lying EVIL headache, i couldn't sniff anything because i was afraid of making it worse. i did sniff the blue moon all the while telling myself that no matter how great it is, you can't fall in love with it. and yeah, it's great, but i think i managed to talk myself out of having to find more of it. and possibly even keeping it. because if i don't have it near me i won't want more so badly, right? right? besides, i just spent all the spare money i might have had on pumpkin king. *face palm* so much for not buying expensive bottles of things unsniffed. you would have thought i learned that lesson after mabon.
chris is out of town until friday, so milo is spending his afternoons/evenings at my parents with iya, mom, dad, and leah. it's for the best. i feel bad taking him there every day because i know it's tough on iya, but it really makes it so much easier on me at the end of the day. i don't worry about him because i know he's being taken care of. and he's not starved for attention and all over me when i don't have the energy to be an attentive mommy. plus mom loves having him over. she lit up when i asked if it would be okay for him to come visit. he's coming home with me at night, so it's not a big deal on that point.
and then ... sunday's my birthday! yay! birthday! saturday we're going to morimoto's to eat expensive sushi and i'll pretend not to drool if morimoto is actually there. then on sunday, chrissy, waryne, and jo are coming over to give me presents! and spend time with me. and then chris and i are having dinner at charlie brown's with my parents. mmm...steak. it's a fun-filled, jam-packed weekend that i hope results in me getting more than enough sleep as well as presents. i like presents. hehe.
in fandom news, i'm currently bored with all my major fandoms and don't feel like reading in my normal side fandoms, so i went and dug up fic in House. i've seen one show so hey, i'm qualified to read the fic now! i know who house is, i know who wilson is, and i know who cuddy is. there you go. that's all i need to be able to read in the fandom. like last week when i was poking around in dead zone fic. i've seen a few first season episodes and the recent christmas episode. that qualifies me to read because i know who johnny, bruce, walt, and sarah are. i'm golden! in other fandom news, i finished a fic. and no, i'm not sending it to betas yet, because i need to pet it and love it and call it george before they rip it to pieces and ask if i actually had an inkling of what the story was about when i first started writing it in june. and the answer is no. you hear that, beta girls? the answer is no. i just wanted to write about rodney loving blowjobs.
i should shower and get ready for work, but meh. i'd rather lay around in bed and drink coffee. i'll be ready in time. besides, milo's noon walk is going to be pushed back and combined with a car ride. plus he's still asleep in his bed. he's fine.
