ds_flashfiction challenges and it is just such a beautiful, poignant look at Stella and Ray in the early years and the differences between them. The story is very short, but it's written in such clear, descriptive language that you get a wonderful sense of who Stella and Ray are and what their lives are like at that very moment as well as what is really important to the both of them in the end.
