strange things are afoot at the circle k...
so yesterday i finally went to the doctor for allergy medicine. yay! for allergy medicine. i also went because of the problem with chronic pain i've been having since i was sick in december. i've been dealing with it for awhile now, but it's starting to effect my day-to-day activities. the majority of the pain is in my shoulders and elbows, but it also has been acting up in my wrists, fingers, hips, knees, and ankles. right now, all i've done today is make coffee and spend some time on the computer and i'm in pain. i've also been losing sensation in my fingers at night and waking up with shooting pains in my arms and thighs. so yeah. it hasn't been a good few months. he took a lot of blood and is testing me for fun things like rheumatoid arthritis, lyme disease, and lupus. all of which make me so very happy to think about. for now, i'm on naprosen again to see if that can reduce some of the swelling and pain. so on top of all the work shit, this is happening too. i think, just because i need the health insurance, i'll be staying for a little while longer. i have to find out what this is and i can't afford to do it without health insurance. damn us health care.
in other news, mom and i went to wegman's yesterday and came out only slightly battle-scarred. but omg i could live in the cheese section. seriously. i got 4 different types of goat cheese for us to sample as well as a pesto, pine nut, and tomato brie torte thingy. when i got home, chris, milo, and i just ate cheese and watched the simpsons. it was lovely. i also picked up dinner for tonight (wasabi crusted tuna and asian green beans) as well as tea! omg such good tea. kiwi lime and coconut, blood orange, and a loose tea that's got coconut, mango, and black tea. we had that with the cheese.
yes. i am a food whore. is there something wrong with that? ;)
and oh. bpal sale over here.
