You're the son that I should have had.
Mom decided that she really wanted to watch Gladiator tonight. Okay, so I feel I should explain my Gladiator issues. I really liked the movie the first time I saw it. I own it and I watch it on occasion. Each time I watch it though I like it less. I see more and more flaws to it and I get angry again at how awarded it was. At this point, I am just annoyed by it.
But I refuse to waste one of the few evenings I have with my mother because I don't enjoy the movie she picked. I will sit here with her and watch it and let her make annoying comments and shush me when I try to speak.
Because I get to spend time with her and that's what matters.
