i've clearly gone insane...

I just spent five minutes staring at the Don We Now Our Gay Apparel sign up form. Clearly this means I need to go to bed if I think I can participate in that SeSa.

The dS SeSa fic is up to 1600 words and has been given approval by [livejournal.com profile] dayse. The Gil/Greg kid-fic that I can't believe I'm writing has reached about 500 words. Why do I always feel the need to write kid-fic when I first jump into a fandom? Except HP that is. Kid-fic was not part of my HP induction as a writer. I can't see it being a biological clock thing. Kids scare me. Especially little ones that require you to clean them and feed them and not forget about them when you want to go out. Also, they tend not to like me. The SGA fic that I've been writing since July is um. there. Rodney and John are still not together in a real way but everyone thinks they are. It's amusing to me. And [livejournal.com profile] mickeym liked it when I had her read it last month.

I signed up for Yuletide and requested two of the same fandoms as last year - The Wire and Deadwood. I really want someone to write me some Avon/Stringer fic or some Al/Dan fic. I also requested Duck-centric Wilby fic as well as A Home at the End of the World fic. I seriously doubt I'll get that one but a girl can hope. :) I forced myself to not pick fandoms that will give me a coronary if I end up getting them as my assignment, but there are three that will definitely be a stretch. And will require me getting a hold of a copy of the movie. Not like last year's though. At least I hope not. *groans*

Chris and I watched CSI all. day. long. We're done four of the disks for the first season. mmmmm...CSI overload. Wow Grissom was different early on. Before he became supervisor and right after, he's actually a fun guy. Not that he's not fun later on, but he definitely becomes less emotional and much more stoic in the presence of his team. Also, Nick is teeeeeeny!

CnS's for Blood Moon started going out on the 3rd. I'm crossing my fingers I get one soon so I can writhe in joy over my Fall scents as well as my big bottle of Anubis. I heart Anubis. And to think I only tried it because he was a villan on Stargate. Too bad Ra made my head hurt. Then I'd have two of the really big bad guys. Hmm...I wonder if Beth'll make an Apophis scent?

Yeah. Definitely time to go to bed.
