Gacked from folks, most recently seen in
luthien's journal.
Chances are people you don't even know are being introduced to your journal every day, either randomly or through someone else. In addition
to recent entries, people can get to know you better by what you posted in the past. With that in mind, post a link to your entries on this daysix months ago, nine months ago, a year ago, and two years ago.
Well, six months ago, I didn't post on the 25th, so I'll take the entry from the 24th.
Six months ago, I was looking for a beta reader for a dS fic. That was for A Passing Feeling which is the last thing of any length I've finished. *sighs* I miss writing.
Wow. Nine months ago, I didn't post on the 25th either, so here's the entry from the 24th again.
Nine months ago, I had just gotten home after working a triple shift at the hospital during a snow storm. Yeah. Never doing that again. Also, didn't get U2 tickets. Bastards.
Man, so apparently a year ago was when I stopped really writing in lj frequently. I didn't post anytime *near* the 25th. So here's the entry from November 1st wherein I lament the way fandom has changed over the years and my hatred for how I'd been writing. I also mentioned
mickeym's birthday fic A Religion With a Fallible God and how I was excited to be writing TrickC again. You know, I still think that's a good fic and I'm kinda happy that's the one I went out on. :)
Ah, two years ago I actually posted on the 25th. I talk about Lou Reed and David Bowie and my failing computer cable. That cable failed repeatedly and I haven't listened to Transformer in ages again. I should really do that.
And wow, three years ago I never shut up in livejournal. 4 entries! I'm bored and hinting at bits of SG1 fic that never saw the light of day. Then later in the day I had a bad dream about my dog and
dayse was there. Then I proceeded to work more on the paper I was writing which if I think really hard, was probably something on Sylvia Plath. And finally
dayse >and I did something very bad with boybanders and decided to free ourself of the shame by blaming it on Wade. Man, I miss the days when everything could be blamed on Wade Robson.
AND, FOUR years ago I talked even more. 7 entries! Most of which are incredibly boring and consist of me being annoyed by school and whatnot. Because I was still at Drexel. *boggles* Also, I was reading The Body in public and a good friend of mine snuck up on me. And I was still writing Walt Whitman's Grave. Wow. That was forever and a day ago. I wonder how Ben is doing these days. I wonder if he's still straight. Cause you know, he really did spend entirely too much time cuddled up with Adam for his own good. And he knew what Adam's come smelled like. That's so not straight.
So really, my entire livejournal career has been about fic and eventually hatred of said fic and finally a slightly tired acceptance of it all. And a gradual avoidance of posting in LJ. See. I'm *interesting*. Or not.
