inward singing
today is one of those days that i wish was already over. or at least half over. basically it's a full day with my family. the part that i wish was half over is the part where we're going to my grandmother's. my mom likes to spring that on us so we don't have time to a) argue about it and b) prepare ourselves for it. i got told about it last night at about 1:15 am. that's pretty standard warning. so hence, i am not prepared with comebacks and whatnot. i'm not prepared to defend my decisions about my life. i'm not prepared to sit in a restaurant with her and get told that i'm ruining my life.
i'm also annoyed because lois, bianca, and alice were supposed to be coming through this area at some point today on their way back from seeing tony and we were going to try and meet up. no chance of that if i'm in delaware with my grandmother.
the second half of the day with the fam, i'm looking forward to. we're going to see the Cirque de Soleil together. and that should be more than a little interesting.
granted all of this is cutting into my homework time a lot but i can't do anything about that right now. i'll just have to bring the books with me. *sigh*
oh and of course while i was showering this morning about 5 full scenes of water popped into my brain. yeah, most of part 6 is written in my brain and i just need time to write it down. argh! this is where it gets messy and complicated and people start to die! i need to write that!
