okay. so i have to post to catch up the last few days really because...yes.
made it down to DC without much trouble. took waaaaay longer than expected though because of massive traffic in Center City while trying to get to South Street before actually hitting the road for DC. the city was insane on thursday.
got there. listened to lots of fun music on the way down including The D. :) yay! lois! didn't realize how much i missed her until i saw her again.
VMA's at Pet's with jawa, pet, and lois. lots 'o' fun. the little girl inside of me with the Michael Jackson crush was squealing when he came onstage.
stayed up laaaate looking at pretty, pretty pictures with kyla and lois. compared our tampa pics. it's funny to look at pictures people you were sitting with took. for example we all have one picture of chris during the striptease that's the same shot. lois has the front half, i have the fine kirkpatrick ass, and kyla has the whole thing. it's amusing. and it happened a lot. i also have a picture of Chris' package during the striptease. i apparently decided i needed a picture of the fine kirkpatrick package as well. *shrugs*
okay. so 4 hours of sleep. the biggest size coffee you can get at 7-11. lois and i are on the road to NYC. oh, and Silvia...you'll appreciate this because you know how anti-Riddle Lois is. hehee...i tricked her. she's heard Riddle now. yes! mission accomplished. dropped shit off at my house before heading up the Turnpike to NYC. made it in a lot less time then expected. yay! got there sometime between 2 and 3. didn't make it to TRL but that's okay. we wandered all over and then commenced to stalk hotels. no U2 sightings. no Nsync sightings. however...
sightings: System of a Down, Milla Jovanovich(sp?), the chick from Planet of the Apes (the blonde one), an ex-Calvin Klein model and....

so we saw a Jackson which was pretty damn cool. so the stalking was successful. there were no regrets for this trip. we had fun. :)
but ow. ow. ow.
legs, feet, pain. apparently going to the gym and being able to work out and kill my legs there is not the same as wandering around New York for hours.
but it was totally worth it to watch Lois start to bounce in the passenger seat of the car when she saw the New York skyline as we approached the Holland Tunnel. and then to watch her face as we walked through her old stomping grounds. so the pain, the lack of sleep, and the loooong ass car rides were totally worth it to take her home at least for a little bit. :)
got back to my house around 12. mom and lois had bonding moments over the U2 stuff that lois bought in NY. then sleep. because yes. wrote a bit while lois napped next to me. she woke up when i turned off the light to go to bed and we ended up talking until almost 4 i think. at the end we were totally gone and contemplating pick up lines Chris would use. *shakes head* i really think you had to be there because the sleepy ho-ho's were in full force at that point.
now...must go and do...stuff. lois is currently indulging in a working shower which i plan to go use when she's done because showering is good. will head back to DC eventually. and eat. because food is also good. oh! and more coffee...
