The Best Laid Plans

You know how when you were a kid and you were sleepy and you didn't feel like going to school, you faked sick so you could lie around in jammies all day and drink hot cocoa and watch crappy daytime tv?

Well I planned to do that today and made the call to work and promptly fell back to sleep.

Only to wake up and actually be sick. Well fuck me. I woke up at 11:30 and was feeling like total shit so fell asleep again until 2:30. Have managed not to fall asleep again thankfully.

So now my fun day of lying around and drinking hot cocoa and watching daytime tv in my jammies has turned into me sipping weak tea in my bed while praying that I keep the toast down that I ate. I am in my jammies though.
