I was flipping channels trying to find something to watch and I stumble across Basquiat, which is an utterly fantastic movie. I adore it. It's about the artist Jean-Michel Basquiat who was a painter in the 80s. Okay, so the other key selling point is that David Bowie plays Andy Warhol. And considering David and Andy were friends, I think that's kind of cool.

Mae-ling and I have reached some sort of agreement with the whole going outside thing. I'll sit outside until she forgets that I'm sitting on the steps waiting for her and then sneak inside which will take her about 5 minutes to figure out. It seems to be working so far.

The bed I'm sleeping in isn't as comfortable as I would like but it's big and that's what I wanted. But I suspect that's why I'm so sore right now.

Oh, and I love Rhys. And Dayse. And Karen. Oh, and Sarah.

Mae-ling and I bonded this morning around 6:45 when the phone rang and I stumbled out of bed to completely miss it because I forgot I unplugged the phone in my room to use the cord for the computer. So to placate her from waking her up from a dead sleep, I let her sleep in bed with me. I spent the next few hours sleeping with a small dog curled up against the small of my back. Okay, she only weighs about 15lbs tops. How come she steals the covers just as bad as Iya?

::yawns::

I need to shower and get in the car and go visit Mom.

I don't feel like doing anything except going back to sleep. Mmm...sleep. And, each time I call B's number I get this weird connection problem. ::sigh:: I better email her.

And Joe. I should email Joe. And call Karen one of these days. And eat breakfast.
