Okay, so I still haven't even started on the paper that's due at...6:30 tonight. Good freakin' lord.

I used to be able to write anything I want at anytime. It's a three page paper! Why can't I write this?

Okay, so inspiration finally smacked me right in the face when I looked over my notes and realized that in some burst of divine inspiration last week, I interviewed three of my male co-workers about what they think women should be like. I also managed to pick three different generations of men at the same time.

So yes. I am now 434 words into a 750 word paper on how men see women.

Thank fucking god I work with rednecks and men in their 60s who can give me inflammatory responses to an easy question like that. Oh, and a 17 year old boy who's so enlightened it hurts. And yet, I'm sure he's not gay. I think I shall hug him tomorrow for being a smart man.

So I had this really weird, scary dream last night where my boss came home early without telling any of us and the house was all messy and I was sleeping and the dog was unkempt. She wasn't angry but I remember panicking and running to the nice gay couple who lived in their guest house to take care of me. They took me to Canada. I would like to point out that they have no guest house nor any nice gay couples (that I know of) living near them. I hate my subconcious sometimes. I woke up all freaked out from the dream.

I think I'll go clean.

~ vaccuumed one of the million rooms in the house
~ watered all five billion plants
~ reorganized more of the cd case
~ drank a pot of coffee
~ changed up icons
~ made bread
~ emailed my boss with her flight info since she forgot it


All I need to do is shower and work on stories for the rest of the day until class. I feel really productive.

So in the Rachel is a moron catagory we have today's breadmaking debacle. I'm making cinnamon raisin bread and there's supposed to be a beep before the second knead to tell you when to add the cinnamon, the raisins, and the walnuts. I somehow missed the beep and the bread is in the baking phase without all of that. Yeah. Rachel = moron.

Let's hope it still tastes somewhat decent.

I've pretty much finalized what my final project is going to be in Women in Perspective and it's probably going to get a bunch of people on my friends list mad, but let me preface it with "Yes, I do like Britney but I still have my own opinions about her".

The topic: Britney Spears, A Guide to One of America's Worst Female Role Models.

Yeah. So it's going to be a lot of Britney introspection. And it's not going to be pretty. Just...give it a chance and if I ask for help for interviews and stuff, please help me out. I'm not going to bash her. I'm going to look critically at what she's done in her career to get where she is and how she has been taken advantage of and how she also is very bad as a role model for young girls and teenagers because of what she says and how she acts.

Or...I might just take a close look at her videos and show how they're basically softcore porn and demoralize women. It depends.
