(no subject)

It's two in the afternoon. Do you know where your brain is?

Mine is currently taking a little holiday and saying it doesn't want to do anything even though I have an exam tonight at 6:30. I was also supposed to do other stuff today, including going to get my check and some stuff I left at the boss' house. But no. I'm still in my pajamas and being all fussy and pissy about life.

Screw life.

Seriously. I'm just all weird right now. I keep having dreams lately that somehow involve planes attacking and fires and me clinging to the people I care about, mostly my family. It's getting really frustrating actually because I haven't gone a full night in about two weeks without one of them. And it takes forever to go back to sleep after one. That added to the having to pee 5 trillion times a night makes for a very cranky Rachel.

I should study.

I really should.

I think I'll just take another nap.

Project Spears

I finished my project proposal for Project Spears as I've taken to calling it. I'm going to post it as a cutaway because it could be offensive to serious Britney lovers. It's not meant to be but I'm trying to make certain points here and I do choose to focus on some of the more negative aspects of her image. I give the girl props (and I use the word girl purposely) because she's had to work hard to get where she is. I just don't think that girls should be basing themselves on her image.

Project Spears

Well I'm home. :)

The exam that I didn't study for and was more than a little worried about...PIECE OF CAKE.

Got the exam at 6:30. Was done by 7:15. The only reason I took that long was that the short essay we had to write on either the social construction of gender, the mythic norm, or the personal is political, I made A LOT longer then necessary.

So Brielle and I were out of there by 7:30 and sitting in a booth at PB's with coffee and cake. I love this. Seriously. Spending time with Brielle is turning out to make my days so much better.

I am so happy.

Plus I wrote a bunch of this thing I'm working on. Yes. The fic story thing.
