The 'net at school is moving terribly slow. It's making me want to throw the computer out the window, but alas, I cannot being it's not my computer. It's raining and I feel icky and I just want to go home. It would be soooo easy to just not go to Civ today, but I really should. I think we're getting paper topic and our midterms back. Which I want, so maybe I should go. [reasons with self] I'll let you know what happens later.

I have a presentation in about an hour that yes, I'm starting to get a little worried about, but not enough to really get anxious about. Besides, I really do like William Carlos Williams' poetry so it makes it easier.

Note to self: Remember Ginsberg book for Shawn.

I sent Your Blue Room to myself, but I don't think I'm going to work on it right now. I want to, but I need to keep myself focused on what I need to do. I don't really enjoy standing in front of people and talking, but luckily it's a small class and if Thursday was any indication, it won't even be half full.

The great Stargate debates are starting up and really, have been since last Friday when the news of Michael Shanks' return was announced. It amazes me how quickly a kerfluffle will spread in this fandom. Granted, popslash is ripe with almost daily kerfluffles, but this one kind of surprises me. I know there are Daniel haters and Jonas lovers, but I never expected this much...anger at the return of Daniel. Jonas isn't actually going anywhere, folks. And we have no idea what Daniel's role will be. Just breathe and relax. Of course, I'm thrilled that Daniel is back and I am not a fan of Jonas, so I guess I won't agree with the folks who are screaming angrily about Daniel being back. Eh. I guess if I'm smart I won't get myself into this and I'll just back away and live in my own little bubble and dance about Daniel being back and imagine snarkiness between Daniel and Jonas. Because really, that would be great.

[sits back and folds hands]

Besides, we all know that Jack and Daniel are desperately in love and Jack will be thrilled to see Daniel. And Daniel will be thrilled to see Jack right after he gets some coffee. I doubt the ascended folks need coffee and I'm sure Daniel is jonesing for it by now. So yes. Jack loves Daniel. Daniel loves coffee followed closely by Jack. Jonas will get snarked at. And Sam and Teal'c will dance. And there we go. Season 7 is written.
