and all the coloured girls go do-do-do-do
Oct. 25th, 2003 12:58 pmI'm trying something new. Mainly, using my computer at the computer desk. This power pack is starting to screw up more often as well and since I hate it when my computer randomly shuts off, I'm trying it on a flat surface. It's working nicely. However, I dislike it because my computer chair is mucho uncomfortable and the desk is at an odd angle. On the plus side I am surrounded by my big CD books and my stereo is within reach. This fact leads to the next part of the entry.
I randomly flipped open one of the books and landed in the R's. Without much thought I put on Lou Reed's Transformer for the first time in ages. I'm having a moment. I always forget how great this album is because I listen to it so rarely. Ah, back in the day where Lou's voice did not sound like gravel and he still slept with androgyenous brother and sister combinations.
Man, I love the 70's and the group of people that landed in London with Bowie - Reed, Pop, etc. Such a wonderful group of kick ass music and hedonism.
