Today is a good birthday day! Happy birthday to quiet000001, resonant8, and raveninthewind!

This is my last day off *sighs* before I have to go back to work. I've been wearing the braces off and on and they have been helping. Today I did some decanting and they were off for that as well as while I've been doing the laundry. So they're off now since I'm doing laundry. It's so much easier to type without them. Heh.

I went to visit my mother today. She fell while running the dog yesterday and she ended up splitting her head open and needing stitches. Before I even saw her, my father jokingly said that he didn't beat my mom up. When I saw her, I understood what he meant by it. The whole right side of her face is swollen and her eye is almost swollen shut and black and blue. She looks like hell. And she feels like hell too. :/ Poor Mommy.

This next thing is totally for my own purposes, but you can all click and take a look at it if you want. It's um. impressive. And scary at the same time. tigs if you see anything you really want to try, let me know. :)

ETA: Oh man, how could I have forgotten this? There was a fire in one of the townhomes just one section over. The whole place was smokey and smelled of barbeque. It was interesting. Milo rubbed his face against everything when Chris and I went to investigate.
