(no subject)

I have a Waryne on my couch who is currently pondering Triple H's supposed bisexuality. Earlier (say five minutes ago) he was pondering whether Spiderman made him gay or not while my dog was attempting to slip him the tongue for scratching her belly just so. My dog is a little whore for a good belly scratch.

Nice night. Good coffee, good blueberry pancakes, good friend. Also, a strange competition on the jukebox at the diner. Two groups of people were obviously fighting musically between The Latina lovers (J-Lo, Shakira) vs. The Country Fans (Travis Tritt, Alan Jackson). Waryne and I did our part by playing Elvis, Nsync, and Neil Young which led to an interesting conversation with our waitress about Neil Diamond, who she said and I quote was "sleazy".

Forever in blue jeans, man. Forever in blue jeans.

And Waryne is still trying to place the year Triple H won the King of the Ring. Anyone want to help the boy out?

He thinks it's '97 but he's not sure. And if you can find out who won from '96 on, that will save us lots of him smacking his forehead and berating himself about his old, feeble mind. Cause yeah. Forgetting wrestling stats makes Waryne cry.

Well.....

I hope I'm not jumping in where not wanted, but I know most of who won. The rest, I'm having told to me by a friend. So, since you want them:
1996:Finals: Steve Austin defeated Jake Roberts to become the 1996 King of the Ring
1997:Finals: Hunter Hearst Helmsley defeated Mankind via pinfall to become the 1997 King of the Ring
1998:Finals: Ken Shamrock defeated The Rock by submission to become the 1998 King of the Ring
1999:Finals: Mr. Ass defeated X-Pac to become the 1999 King of the Ring
2000:King of the Ring finals: Kurt Angle pinned Rikishi
2001:King of the Ring final: Edge defeated Kurt Angle
2002: Brock Lesnar defeats Rob Van Dam

Hope it's helpful, and what you wanted. Hope I'm not jumping in where not wanted.

I knew Rikishi was in there somewhere. Ha! And he told me that Rikishi wasn't in King of the Ring.

I knew something he didn't! Go me! Go me!

Yay! Go you! And, yeah, sorry it's all in bold. I was just planning on making the names bold, but I must've forgotten a / somewhere. *shrug* My proof reading sucks.

But Yay! You knew something he didn't!

*raises hand* I know!

I know. Well, really I had a rough idea, and then asked a friend for confirmation. It was 1997.
1997:Finals: Hunter Hearst Helmsley defeated Mankind via pinfall to become the 1997 King of the Ring.

Glad to be of help!

Hunter Hearst Helmsley

That's his name?

[snicker]

Good thing he's huge so he can kill anyone who mocks him.

[identity profile] fayemeadows.livejournal.com 2002-07-18 09:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, I would hope Spiderman didn't make him gay because he's really no use to me then, is he?

:)

And tell him to stop hitting his damn head; he's killing brain cells.

You know, by sheer luck, Spiderman didn't make Chris gay either.

I think we're pretty lucky personally.

[grins]

Wow. We *are* lucky.

I bet he made Lance gay though. Oops, too late. :)

[identity profile] visionshadows.livejournal.com 2002-07-18 09:57 pm (UTC)(link)
I think Lance is a lost cause there.

Perhaps though, we should show that to Justin so he can admit that he's Big!Gay!Justin and have a legitimate reason. It's all Spiderman's fault!

Now, now, just because Justin acts like a flaming queen doesn't mean...oh...wait, yeah it does.

[slaps forehead]

Stupid me. And I thought his feminine posture on Rosie was just the result of hanging with JC.

Why do they always flame when they're on Rosie?

It's scary that Chris is the butch of the group.
