Okay, so I gave in and made a Stargate website for the fledgling fic I have in that fandom. I couldn't help myself! And I gave in and just put it on sparklydanceboys.com. I couldn't go back to the hell of free hosting since I have a perfectly good webspace of my own. Jack and Daniel can be sparkly danceboys if you squint a little. Most of the site is live, except for the links and recs page.

And to kick off the new site, I have a fic for it as well. Dark, deep, introspective Daniel-fic! Woo! Nothing like a new fandom to cause angst in. :) Big thanks go to tigs and dayse for reading it over for me even though they are SO not in the fandom (but I'm trying really hard with Dayse).

Yes, enjoyed it very much. I just wanted to hug poor Daniel and have Jack cuddle him lots though :(

I missed most of the early episodes and a lot of the middle ones, so while I understand that he was married, I really don't know any of the circumstances behind it, other than what I've read in fic. Stories like this make me want to find all the old eps, so I can get a richer background for the fic.

I keep picturing poor Daniel aimlessly wandering around now, with sand pouring through his fingers. My brain is odd.

Well, you know, starting next Monday, the Sci-Fi channel is re-running all the old episodes starting at the very beginning. It's four hours every Monday night. :)

And I'm glad you had that image of Daniel. I basically wanted people to get an almost dreamlike image of Daniel wandering around like that. I guess it worked with you. :)

Just think about how Jack is going to take him home and wrap him in his arms and let Daniel know that he's safe and loved and Daniel's going to fall asleep in Jack's arms and know that he's safe and loved even if he's still unsure about his choices and an emotional wreck. But Jack's there and Jack loves him.

It'll come. Eventually. I hate to use the evil, awful school excuse, but yeah. Evil, awful school excuse. At least until this little rush is over.

I'm glad that you enjoyed both of them. Jack and Daniel are so great together.
