I really don't know how to study for my Brit Lit exam. The first part is actually translating a bit of The Canterbury Tales to modern English from Middle English. There's really no way to study for that part. And the second half is identify and analyze a passage from one of the readings. We have to do one each from Old English, Middle English, and Renaissance/Early Modern period. To be honest, I can't figure out how to study for that part. I know the general point of each other the stories. I know what the themes of the course and the terms used. I just can't figure out how to study for it. Blah.

I think I'm going to work on my paper instead. I think I'm prepared for the exam. I think. Famous last words. I also need to do laundry, read a whole bunch of crap including the first half of Fences for tomorrow. Oh, and figure out a costume for this weekend.

[sighs]

I really want some coffee. Like. Bad.

To be honest, I'm not thrilled with that idea at all. My costume is boring if we do that. He's the one who has an interesting costume. All I have to do is wear black and bruise my eye and lip. Bah. Boring.

I swear, Rache, just dress Chris up like a girl, wear a sign that says "worst costume ever" and go get drunk. :)

Yeah, maybe. I'm just so eh. I want to have fun and I'm excited by the party, but I have so much due right after the party. I'm just so worried about everything and I think that's why I can't decide on a costume.
