play dates and chocolate

did your parents ever make play dates for you when you were a kid? mine did. they would call up their friends with kids i absolutely hated and make plans for us to play together. i think i rebelled at the idea of the play date when i was five. no more trying to be the normal, suburban parents for them after that. once i rebelled at the play date my parents stopped trying to fit in with the other parents and started being themselves again. which was great. and i never had to go on a play date again.

so essentially, dayse and i just set up a play date because we both have a ton of schoolwork to do and still want time to play with each other. it's different though, cause i like dayse and i doubt i'll throw rocks at her like i did to Jimmy Yanero when i was five. but um. if i do, dayse hon, it's nothing personal. it's just habit from past play dates.

mmm...chocolate and coffee for breakfast....oh yeah am i gonna be wired...
