For Karen mostly...
Well, for anyone on my list that was friends with Tina Smith in high school. Just got this forwarded to me from Megan. It made me smile when I needed it.
OK. I know that I haven't been in contact with every one of you over the
past few years- but I figured that I had better send out a note to let
people know what is up in my life. All of you know that I have gotten
married to Jeff in '99, and some of you already know that I had a baby
girl, Hannah, in '00. Well, last summer '00 we bought a house which I fell
in love with as soon as I saw it. Three bedroom home with wood floors,
ceilings, & walls, woodstove, greenhouse, three acres, and huge two story
two car garage. This winter we settled into a new church since moving from
our rent, a lot of our friends go there and the pastor is amazing- he
really preaches the Word. And on Sept 27, 01, a few days ago, I had another
baby girl, Danielle. Nine pounds, eight ounces, 22 inches long, dirty
blond, blue eyed. God has really blessed us in amazing ways. We have our
problems like anyone, but every day that I see my toddler run around or
blow me a kiss, that Jeff comes home safe and sound from work, that my
freezer is full of food and my garden is still yielding, that I get to hold
my newborn in my arms, I thank God for the little things He does for us
that we never take the time to appreciate. Maybe it is because I have the
time to take- I took this semester off from school- but I guess each of us
has to take the time sometime. God can't be ignored for long.
Anyway- that is what's new. Miss talking to each of you, but we have great
memories, huh? Drop me a line to let me know what's happening- I don't
promise to be prompt, but I will write back!

Wow
She's only 22! I'm the same age, and I don't think I'd have it that together in my 30's.
Tina, sounds happy and content. I'm really happy for her.
I can't imagine her with children. The Tina I remember had a kick ass backhand and wore her hair in pigtail puffs.
