Happy New Year!

I rang in the New Year with an apartment full of people, a joint, fireworks in the distance, and a kiss from my guy. And from many others, but most importantly him. I realized that I first spent New Years with Waryne 7 years ago and since then, have spent all but 2 with him in some fashion. Then, after injuring myself, I ended up coming home, passing out for hours and waking up at 2 in the afternoon. I'm still sore and the top of my head is tingly (bad sign in my world), but I really want to go grocery shopping. Like, a whole, whole lot. It calls to me.

In other news, authors have been revealed in multiple ficathons, but I only participated in the always wonderful due South Seekrit Santa. I wrote a story for j_s_cavalcante called Where I End and You Begin which features a post-CotW RayK and Fraser in purely buddy domestic bliss together because they just don't get it. But eventually they do. It's really kind of short, but I ended up liking it a lot after all is said and done. I'd actually like to flesh it out more now that I have time. *g*

I got a fantastic story that I've yet to properly rec due to my own laziness despite how much I love the story. I got a story that was happy, emotional, and features RayK unplugged and a Fraser who just gets desperate and doesn't get it until Bob comes and makes him see the light. It's really, really good. And as my wonderful writer pir8fancier says, it's a combo of not one, but three different ideas - A Christmas Carol by Dickens, It's a Wonderful Life by Capra, and due South. So it's a Christmas story, which I'm very partial to, and I love it muchly. It's a Wonderful Christmas Carol. Go read and tell her how great it is!

Finally, we got enough people for the mini-CD circle so gals, I will be emailing you when Beth puts the update live. :D Yay!



And this is just for me... this year, I will be even more proactive with my health. That's my only resolution. Stay healthy and do what is necessary to stay that way.

Yeah, and I enjoyed looking at all the smaller town ones more than the big Philly ones. They were everywhere, and there were so many of them! Chrissy & Waryne are totally doing New Year's every year. :)

Thank you again for the great story! I LOVE that Fraser and Ray were living in purely domestic buddy bliss and Didn't Get It. Best idea ever! And hurray for their "getting it," too!!! I loved the humor and all the little extras in the story; it just rang all my bells. You rock. Hope it's okay if I friend you. :)

I am seriously so happy you like it. I wanted it to be something that would bring you happiness. I read your post at least 20 times to make sure that your desires were met. And that's the first sex scene I think I've written in about 3 years. *g*
