Therapy has started to become something I have to get through in order to have a yummy coffee drink. It's sad that I have to reward myself like that to do something I know I need to do. Bah. But yum. I have a cafe mocha. Mmm...mocha-y.
Wrote a little snippet about Jack's dry hands in class today while we were discussing "Fences" by August Wilson. I have a love/hate relationship with August Wilson that really falls more on the hate side than the love side. I don't really enjoy his plays, but I can respect their brillance. But we're not really reading any plays I like for the drama portion. I'm thinking I'll just have to do my paper on Ives' "Sure Thing" because I refuse to do a paper on "The Glass Menagerie". I really despise Tennessee Williams. There is no love in that relationship. I'm just so picky when it comes to plays. There was good stuff to pick from in that book too, but we're not reading any of it. And of course, because it wouldn't be a literature course without it, we're reading "Death of a Salesman" at some point this semester. I won't be reading that again. Bah.
I need to learn how to prioritize and fast. I have no urge at all to do any of the work I need to do for class tomorrow or in the future. When did I become such a bum?
Oh! I also got to go shopping today! Woo! Mommy's Visa is a beautiful thing. I got new jeans and a cute little zipup sweater. I also found the boots that I've been searching for but I didn't buy them. Yet. That's for this weekened. Hehe.
