Okay, I don't understand why I love Trading Spaces so much but I do. It's like such a guilty pleasure at this point and I adore it! I just watched two episodes with Dad and by the time the second one was halfway over he was watching with total interest. He thinks that Genievive is a totally cool designer and that Vern is definitely neat. He's a little ambivalent about Frank and he does NOT like Doug at all. He totally wants to redo our house now and thinks that we should drape fabric everywhere and shave the Siberian Husky to make it feasible. She didn't look happy about that. He hasn't seen Ty in action yet because it seems t be Amy Winn night which is cool. I adore Amy Winn.

It's cool to have something else to watch with Dad. He's so pissy about Buffy these days that it's no fun to watch it with him. Plus...um. The whole Buffy and Spike having sex thing. Doesn't jive well with me and him watching together.

I think I totally lost the point of this entry which was nothing more than to say I love Trading Spaces.

Wow. And to think I haven't been drinking.

Oddly, I, too, have been watching Trading Spaces for the last three hours. Planned to watch it even.

It made me cry last week.

And no, I wasn't drinking then, either. =)

I planned to watch it tonight too. I was all happy and bouncy and went to get ice cream before it started and post-football.

It's just such the opposite of what I usually like. But it's so fun. :) And I want to do it so badly!

I need friends that live nearby for that though

*sigh* best show. Doug did this thing with a room this morning that I was just not a fan of. it was fun but not for a bedroom. this calls for an icon

Was it the train room? Because while interesting it was a bad idea for a bedroom. And the wife hated it.

YES the train room. poor wife. but the husband LOVED it and they never really like the rooms. I felt bad. like I could tell that she was going to be all "ok we can keep 3 things about this room. and all this blue has GOT to come down. and WHERE is my window?!

My dad thought it was the neatest thing and kept asking me how we could do that to his room. I told him no way in hell unless he wants a divorce.

That room would have been good for like a den or something so she wouldn't have to see it everyday. Because it was really a room for him, not for both of them.

If I ever did this I would *pray* not to get Doug or Hilde. I would be tentative about Frank but everyone else would be fine. But please God not Doug or Hilde.

*pouts*

I want to see the train room. Darn it, I've missed all this weeks eps. I think I'm going to have to start taping it, I'm getting home from work just at the end...and it's no fun to watch just the end.
Trading Spaces rocks! :)
