National Day of Prayer

President Bush declared that today, Friday the 14th, was a National Day of Prayer. Because, as I could see while watching it, they are sticking to Christian based prayers and preachings, I wanted to offer up prayers of my own. I'm not especially religious, never have been. I am proud of my religion though and have turned to it in times of hardship. I'm asking that all of us add a prayer to this post in the religion of our choice, be it the religion we practice or not so that all religions are represented in this country today as we mourn and come together as one nation united together. And please, anyone from other countries too, feel free to add. We are a world united together right now. It doesn't even need to be prayers because I am aware of the large numbers of aethists in this country and the world. Offer up words that make you feel better. Just add something, song lyrics, prayers, words of inspiration, anything that has helped you.

knowing that lois and i are spending the evening waiting for waryne to get his ass moving and get to my house makes life just that much more normal.

because waryne is ALWAYS late. the guys have joked about JC-time. well there's Waryne-time and it's just like JC-time. he has no concept of time.

we're supposed to be going out with chris and brielle as well. probably just to a bar or something but waryne wants to see people and i haven't seen them in ages.

and now lois can meet more people from 'the fragile'. ::grins::

argh. and now my whole family is in my room for the most part. dad's computer died so mom is attempting to do the schedule for work on my computer. mom has no knowledge of excel. i'm not in the mood to help and apparently she can't wait until tomorrow when i can do the template for her. so at the moment mom, dad, iya, lois, and myself are all crammed into my room. it's too small for this.

mom's going crazy about the cookies at the moment. it's like her primary concern. ::shakes head:: i definitely need to go out and get a drink tonight.

and apparently suzuki means 'little bass' in japanese...that's adorable
