procrastination....

last winter, i was always late to my 9am class because i would check my mail and find out that lois had mproved and there was a nice, long story waiting for me. i was late for that class on average once a week and just didn't go on average, once a week.

this year it's livejournal. and it's not like last year where all i had to do was run across campus. i have to catch two different trains or drive into philly from jersey. that means my time is so cut down. and yes, what am i doing instead of getting dressed? updating livejournal. i have to be at the train station at 1. am i going to make it? ::shrugs:: who the hell knows?

oh, dayse: i'm going to be home later then i said last night. i got word that urban outfitters is having their usual fall sale and i'm so fucking weak. i have to go shopping. i'll probably be home closer to six then to four.

also...um...totally ashamed to say this, but during one of my weird, waking dreams this morning, i had a dream with my mom, lois, me, and fred durst in it. i dreamed about fred durst. and i think i liked that dream. oh god. stab my head please. it's all this durston talk. (yay! ceili and alice for writing them) i can't get him out of my head.

i think i have a crush on fred durst.

10 Things I've Learned Today:

1: The bastard at PATCO have doubled the cost of a round trip ticket to Philly. It's not $2.35 anymore. It's fuckin $4.30. And Septa is $2 each way. So yeah. It may have cost $8.50 to park on campus the other day, but it still cost $8.30 to take the trains.

2: American Lit 2 is NOT going to be any more exciting than American Lit 1. Not because of material. That's more interesting. I just have a teacher that makes the wall seem like Chris Kirkpatrick after too much sugar.

3: Ben still snores. Loudly. And Ben can still fall asleep at anytime and wake up and answer questions about Huckleberry Finn with "but it had three legs"...

4: Irina is still insane and I love her dearly for that. We went out for ice cream and shopping after class because we haven't seen each other in months.

5: According to the book Irina and I bought called Esquire's Things A Man Should Know About Sex: What appeals to no woman: premature, shall we say, resolution. Yours. Extra bonus mental picture that might assist in the avoidance of premature resolution: Dick Cheney. Also: Dick Cheney in jackboots and pasties and nothing else.

6: Dick Cheney is scary when you picture him naked. Try. I'll wait. ::taps foot:: Yes. See. Very scary.

7: I can control myself at Urban Outfitters. I only bought five shirts and spent a total of $30. Not bad considering one shirt can cost $100 there. Yay! for sales!

8: Karen and Brielle are going to see Tool tonight. I, alas, am not. ::pout::

9: I'm not the only one with a crush on Fred Durst thankfully. Huzzah! I don't feel (as) dirty as before. Though the dream was still disturbing.

10: I still may have a tutoring job. I have students emailing me for meetings which is a good sign, though as far as I know, the class is still cancelled. ::shrugs:: I should email Harriet and Prof. Mason.

On another note, I listened to Antichrist Superstar for the first time in forever. ::sighs happily:: I can feel the Manson love/lust returning. I get embarrassing crushes. I know it.

::skips off to read a couple hundred pages on the Holocaust::
