i am very, very tired. we had another extremely busy day. but yay! the floor and the shelving and fixtures for the new store got delievered today. a tractor trailer packed full of stuff had to be unloaded by hand because they didn't put anything on skids and we couldn't have gotten the forklift to the truck anyway. three cheers for ancient forklifts! hip-hip-hooray!
it was a nice day though. spent lots of time with paula who i like to talk to. and mimi as well. i'm beat and i'm going to sleep like the dead tonight, after i get my second wind of course. had a very interesting conversation with some random customer who happened to walk in while i was saying something about Bowie. essentially he and i just squeeed about the bowie goodness for about five minutes. bowiiiiiiie! and when i got home kate had quoted 'Hearts Filthy Lesson' in my journal to me. that made me smile.
much time was spent watching the news today. not much of a surprise there. the world was watching the news again. i'm scared admittedly but i have learned that life has to keep going on and it doesn't stop, even though it did stop for a bit again today.
we had about ten people, customers and employees alike, gathered around the TV when we first turned it on. just silence. and anyone who walked in stopped and watched. then chloe and harley began to play and everything just started moving again.
i'm cold and i want some tea. i would kill for a dunkachino right now but i don't feel like going to get one. laaaazy. i was half-asleep driving home so i missed the turn for dunkin donuts and my liquor store so no dunkachino or wine for me tonight.
but boston public! and angel! and 24!
and no homework!
well that's not true but i'm not doing any! whee!!

oh and folks, this is how i'm going to be from now on. don't expect much squeeing from this direction. i'm going to be nice and boooooooring. :)
wait! i get Dayse back tonight...i think. cause she's done her test!
