Ugh. I'm cranky today. Super-uber cranky. I just want to go back to bed and forget about everything except sleep. Mmm...sweet, merciful sleep. Nothing can bother me there.

Leah is still home and I want to smack her upside the head. I hate getting my routine disturbed and she is an excellent routine disturber. I'm not going to get to watch the news today which will just throw off my whole day because she's watching Not Another Teen Movie or some crap like that. Plus she's lying on the couch and moaning every few minutes so Mom runs to her side to check on her. Gah. Can I kill her please to put ME out of MY misery?

I'm going to be such a sucky parent when my kids are sick.

Really loving my new background for my LJ. It's Matisse's Blue Nude. Well, one of them. But this is one of my favs. It's all purty and it makes my LJ pretty.

The guinea pigs are mad that there's no more lettuce in their cage. I just put on the Mom voice and told them it was their fault they ate it too fast. They could have saved it for later but no, they're stupid animals with almost no brain so they have no idea how to judge time and amount of food against each other. Damn, they're cute. :)

So. Home from work. Um. Woo? Also took tomorrow off at the Mom's request. Granted we have nothing planned and the demon spawn will be here as well, even though the paycheck I got last week for working real hours was very nice and I could use another one of those next week, I did it. Tomorrow I get to go to the bank and drop $320 into my account. Woo! Please note that is a total of three weeks paychecks not counting what was used for me to get drunk and whatnot. So. Yeah. It's not that great.

We're attempting to go out to dinner just the three of us. This should be...tough. But Mom made us promise we would be good. And I'll do it for Mom. And the margaritas. But mostly for Mom. Honest.

Well, off to drink legally with the Mom. :)
