I've only been up for about an hour but I've still managed to have almost an hour long conversation with Waryne. You're on the list for a call, Chrissy. Watch out. Clear some time, yo. [grins] Had a nice chat with him. Daydreamed about a home for me, him, and Ron. Talked about his discovery of a new type of condom. All kinds of fun stuff. Also, may have promised usage of my check card for a purchase for his mom. But she has the cash, yo. So it's okay. It just has to be done in credit card form. Here's to hoping that Jon comes through first though.

Must go shower now so I can play with Dayse. Yes. Now that is the way to spend Memorial Day.


Later is the required charring of meat and family time.

My family has a tendancy to do everything backwards. Mom decided that she wanted to grill which was fine with us. Except we have no grill. So Dad and I went in search of a grill. A cheap grill which is not so easy to find on Memorial Day. We didn't find one but instead we bought me a new lamp and a new bookcase which I get to spend tomorrow staining. Yay! No, I really AM excited about that. I have a project! Whee!

Mom finally found a tiny little grill and bought it. After much hi-jinxs attempting to get it put together, we now have it together and we're getting everything ready.

So naturally...

It's starting to thunder.

[smacks forehead]

Of course when I suggested we do it on the front porch I got laughed at.

It's a typical Lewis family holiday. We suck at things like this.
