I like waking up in my bed with a boy next to me. I could get used to that.

Also, I've been up for three hours. I'm ready for a nap now.

[whistles]

Oh, and there's nothing like having the dog push open the door while you're attempting to have really secretive sex because you promised your parents you wouldn't have sex while they (and your sister) were home.

Boy did we fly apart then.

Silly Iya. Who eventually did get in bed with us and reclaim her position in the bed. Poor Chris ended up with an Iya sleeping on him. He didn't mind luckily.

I want more coffee now.

Train of thought while working on a scene: Boy #1=angsting=Boy #2's backyard=my leg itches=ooh! I want eggs.


Me: [closes laptop and runs to the steps] Do we have stuff for eggs?

Mom: [deadpan] You mean eggs?

Me: [pouts] Yeah.

Mom: [shakes head] Go back to sleep.

Me: [goes back upstairs, properly chastized]


Yeah, don't even ask about last night and how I had to ask if I still had my glasses on and decided to share that I couldn't read the menu because I'd had too much to drink.

Now, since we have the stuff for eggs, I'm going to go make eggs.

Mmm...eggs.

Me: [closes laptop and runs to the steps] Do we have stuff for eggs?

Mom: [deadpan] You mean eggs?

Mine is currently curled up against my side. I love the little fucker. Though she is being a pain about me using the laptop and not petting her. She gets jealous easily.

Last night ended up being a lot of fun. Really, I didn't even talk much to work folks. I spent all night happily talking to Chris. I really missed him the last couple of weeks. I'm glad we had last night. And I think we're going to go get sushi this weekend. Yay! Sushi.

Today, I woke up with him next to me, spent time with the parents and him so they could really meet him. I just got dressed at 4:30. I spent all day reading and writing and listening to music and chilling with the pup. We made a new playlist in Winamp and so far it has yet to disappoint. Currently Miss Sarajevo is on and that song is just amazing. Iya seems to be digging it. Waryne and Chrissy are coming to get me soon. I get to spend more time with them.
