You know, I'm not really the most polite person on Earth. I do things that piss people off without really thinking about it. But oddly enough, I have this one coworker who I don't really like, but get along with, that I can't seem to be mean too. I'm not nice to her by any stretch of the imagination, but I think the fact I talk to her and don't ignore her like the rest of the people she works with means she thinks I like her. But yes. The point of this story is that she makes me food all the time. She's Indian and I like Indian food, so one time when she offered I said hey, that'd be really nice if you brought me some food. Now she brings me food like two or three times a week. Yesterday it was chicken masala and poori. I thanked her and took the food home.

See. The problem is that she's really not that great of a cook. It's not like that episode of the Sopranos after Tony eats at the Indian resturant and ends up getting food poisoning or anything, but it's really not that great either. The poori is wonderful and I'm glad she gave me a ton of that, but the chicken masala. Well, let's just say I ate the bits of chicken out of it and then just dipped the poori in the sauce so I could say I ate it. And that's the thing. It's not like she's here to see me eat the food she makes. Even if I ate it at work (which I did once with some drumsticks and will never do again) she wouldn't be there to see since she works on day shift.

But I always eat it.

Am I growing a heart or something?

And on a completely different note, I watched a movie last night on Logo where Ving Rhames played a drag queen. And it was about as good as Wesley Snipes playing a drag queen, but you know, I'd watch the movie again. I sobbed like a little girl. Damn hormones. Also, Peter Williams was in it in a completely non-speaking role where he mostly just jumped up and down and squealed like a little girl when Ving Rhames sang 'Baby Love.'

Also, I'm about a quarter of the way through [livejournal.com profile] brooklinegirl's DS pizza AU and I really hope I have time to finish it at work because omg! Pizza and sex! It's good stuff. :)
