Because sometimes you need a good laugh to get through the day.
Wherein Sarah and I figure out why Lance is suddenly spending all this money.
Zillah37: ok. i declare that livejournal is currently having a fit about this whole lance thing
Sarah5OSU: hehe
Sarah5OSU: Which thing? 2 things exploding on the same day is never good.
Zillah37: the whole lance is going into space thing
Sarah5OSU: Yup.
Zillah37: if that's what is going on, more power to him. i would do it if i had $20 mill to spare
Sarah5OSU: I would too.
Zillah37: it still is making me laugh though
Zillah37: oh man
Sarah5OSU: But how does he have 20 million to spare?
Zillah37: i don't know
Sarah5OSU: Like, weren't they in financial trouble like... 2 years ago?
Zillah37: and i forget who mentioned it, but i think his heart might end up being a deciding factor

Zillah37: they've made a hell of a lot of money but i don't think they have *that* much
Sarah5OSU: I doubt he'll get up there, actually.
Sarah5OSU: I know!
Sarah5OSU: People were talking about him buying out Lou and I was just like, do you even know how much that would be?
Zillah37: oh yeah
Sarah5OSU: And now 20 million for a tourist trip into space?
Zillah37: i was thinking about that. lou would NOT give up that easily
Sarah5OSU: He has to be financing FreeLance and Happy Place, too.
Zillah37: i think lance owned part of enron and has millions in offshore holdings
Zillah37: that's my theory

Zillah37: you know, he's got to get rid of the money quick so why not buy out lou and go into space. no one will notice the large amounts of money being moved around.
Sarah5OSU: Now he's just trying to get rid of it so the authorities don't ask questions.
Zillah37: exactly. he's all nervous and he tried to spend the money on beanie babies and joey but joey wasn't for sale and there aren't that many beanie babies in the world. and then when dirk stopped eating the expensive ferret food he knew he was in trouble.
Sarah5OSU: Oh my god. Laughing so loudly right at the moment.
Zillah37: me too. i'm really glad i'm alone
Zillah37: but it makes perfect sense!

Sarah5OSU: Totally!
Zillah37: we've figured it out!
Sarah5OSU: I always knew there was something fishy about the man. Something fishier than his last name.
Zillah37: that's how come he made OTL. to spend a little of the money. he didn't WANT it to make anymore money or else he would be in even bigger trouble
Zillah37: he's like the dog with the shifty eyes in cartoons.
Sarah5OSU: Of course. He's going to be in real trouble when the DVD goes on sale, though.
Zillah37: you know that he's up to no good but you can't figure out what it is
Zillah37: hopefully though the 20 million will be spent on space and the DVD sales won't hurt him too much
Sarah5OSU: Exactly. That sweet, shy, dorky boy was all an act. He admitted to it in YM (?) when he said he was popular in high school.
Sarah5OSU: He should just buy himself a 3rd world country.
Sarah5OSU: That would waste the money quickly.
Zillah37: Exactly. I'm sure he can buy someplace in Africa or Southeast Asia. Heck, I bet that he could even buy Cuba right about now.

Zillah37: Someone needs to help Lance out with his money problems. I'll happily take some off his hands.

Zillah37: Oooh. He does own all the rights to the early Nsync songs. I'm sure he can pony up on some covers of them.
Zillah37: No one will notice if a song comes out called 'God Must Have Spent a Little More Time on Dew'

Zillah37: Lance especially because no one would know about his seedy business deals and his love for the Cayman Islands.

Sarah5OSU: And it would be good publicity for him too. Financing a fan's dream.

Zillah37: I don't really want it for any reason other than to say I have the Batmobile.
Zillah37: I know if I was Lance I would have two just to annoy Joey. "Superman doesn't even HAVE a car."

And if that's really what Lance is doing, going into space, go for it, boy. I would kill for a chance like that but you know, no 20 million laying around.
