Hmm...20 minutes before class. I've been meaning to do this for a few days but never got around to it.

I absolutely adore The Eminem Show. I think I adore it too much almost. It makes me smile and giggle and curl up into a little ball. Eminem should NOT make a person do that. But like, it's little things.

In Business, he calls Dre Andre and for some reason that's just so endearing it makes me coo.

Then the way he says 'Square' in Square Dance. Again. So endearing. Squer.

How he tries so hard to sing on Cleanin Out My Closet and Hallie's Song and fails so miserably but it's so cute to hear him try.

The whole tragical, unperfect love between Em and Dre that's just showcased on My Dad's Gone Crazy.

It's just too good. Too, too good. I feel so dirty for liking it but I doooo! I love it so!

And now I go to class and think about Eminem some more.


I'm sorry, Kate. I know I shouldn't like him but I can't help it. I'm such an awful feminist.

i think it's because he was using "marshall" in that song as his name. so i guess he used andre because it's dre's real name. [shrug]

You're not an awful feminist. Just because he hates Kim and his mother doesn't mean he hates all women. He speaks based on his experience, y'know? I'm sure NSYNC doesn't think to much of females on the whole sometimes because of the starfucking, money-grubbing whores they've encountered. It's all about a person's perception.

If one more person tells me I shouldn't listen to him because I'm a member of the gay community, I'm going to scream. Just...no. There aren't enough words for how stupid that mentality is.
