Water

So about a year and a half ago, I started an AU called Water. It's unfinished and it's going to stay that way. However, I have six of the parts finished and I wrote an explanation for the ending of the story. It's a WIP obviously, and it's not going to be finished. I know lots of people loathe WIP's and I totally understand not reading it. But it is all up, and the explanation of what happens is there so you won't be left hanging in the sense of not knowing what happens to everyone.

It is a Kevin story at the heart of it, so it's fitting I decided to put it all up during Kevin's month. So. Yeah. It's there.

I loved the bit of this I remember reading and was hoping you'd either finish or do something like you're doing now. I usually reserve comment until something is done, so I don't remember if I commented or not earlier, but I loved it and cannot wait to read this now...wheee!

Wow. Not disappointed at all. I think you do sci-fi very well and while I'm of course sad that you're not going to write more of this, I'm extremely happy you posted what you'd finished, as well as the explanation of the end.

While the characters aren't completely the boys (and girls) we know and love, there's bits of their personalities in there that make the story richer. I love the story and the world that you created. Very well fleshed out, even though you didn't go overboard with the detail. The only thing I'm still wondering about, unless I missed where you explained it, is what was up with AJ's eyes?

So, yes, wonderful story, sad to see it end, but glad to get as much as I did. :)

Oh, I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I really love the world I created as sad as it is. There's something so...fulfilling about making a whole, new world up by yourself. Guess it's a good thing I'm now writing a fandom that requires that a lot of the time. [grins]

Let's see. AJ's eyes. I never really got into detail with that because I figured I would touch on it later. People on level 1 have mutations and AJ's happen to be eyes that are pretty much clear. They're disturbing because you can see right through them and they are usually filled with burst capillaries so it makes them look like they are bleeding. I should add that as well as a better description of Christina, Chris, Kevin, Britney Jean, and Justin's mutations as well.
