[finally agrees to borrow N.E.R.D. CD from Chrissy]
[wishes that stubborness hadn't extended to this CD]
In other words, I'm finally listening to the N.E.R.D. CD. And it fucking rocks. I really like this. I can see myself actually listening to this unlike the Nelly CD (I'm sorry, Julia!) that I also borrowed from Chrissy.
I'm feeling very out of it for some reason, like I'm half-awake even though I've been up for a couple of hours, had coffee, talked with Chrissy, and showered. I think it's the weather. It's grey and chilly. The campus seems deserted outside and that makes things all weird. Usually there are people around no matter what. But right now. Empty. It's strange. And I'd kill for a nap.

Date: 2002-10-28 10:37 am (UTC)and much as I appreciate the sentiment, I've kind of realized that there are many many people who don't like Nelly's music. I'm not exactly concerned, considering the number of records he's selling, and it's like okay. I can't understand *why* people don't like it cause to me it's so good, but I can understand *that* people don't. No apology necessary.
*However* people who don't like hiphop at all but like Eminem (and I'm not talking about you, you're just picky about your hiphop like a lot of people, which is of course great and fine), those people really really REALLY piss me off. I can get into a big rant about the ridiculousness of that. I won't now, but I've been set off a few times by livejournal people and it wasn't pretty. Okay I'll stop talking my ass off. it's the caffeine.
