Eek!

It's the Seymour episode of Futurama.

[turns off tv]

I just. I can't watch that one. I cry every. single. time. I get all choked up just *thinking* about that episode. Just mentioning it will make me get all weepy. It's worse than the episode of E.R. where Mark Green dies. It's even worse than the episode where Joyce dies in Buffy. Damn those Futurama folks and their manipulative use of a cute dog and his sad, sad story.

I'm gonna go hug my puppy.

No judgement here.

I more than agree.

I own it and I've watched it once.

It's probably the best thing I never like to see.

I've seen it once all the way through and maybe halfway through once more. It kills me everytime. I told Chris about it and he didn't believe me. Then he watched it, started to cry, and hugged his puppy.

Which one is the Seymour episode? (Unless it would be too painful to describe.)

I know the Yancey one always makes me sniffle.

::hugs::

It's an episode about Fry's dog that he adopted when he worked at the pizza store. And how Seymour was the only one who noticed Fry was missing. And he waited for him outside the pizza store. And died waiting for him!

Gah. It kills me. So damn sad. :(

Actually it's a really good episode. It's worth seeing once because it's so well done. It's just really, really sad.

That episode made me cry so hard, and so unexpectedly, that I had snot on my pants.

It totally snuck up on me as well. It was just such a heartbreaking episode that you never expected Futurama to do.

That's exactly how I felt after I watched it the first time. I cry thinking about it now! I'm all sniffly just replying to these comments!

I'm the same way about the "Dief Gets Sentenced to Death" ep of Due South, despite the upbeat ending.

Oh man. When Fraser is holding the gun and aiming it at him! That kills me.

Poor Dief.

Man, if he had to kill Dief ... that would have destroyed Fraser. He would have pretended he was fine, but he wouldn't have been at all.

Some web-site or another took it upon themselves to rate the "Greatest Futurama Moments" and that was #1. Not cuz it was good, but because everyone who's ever seen it has cried like a little girl. Probably the most unexpectedly moving things ever aired on TV.

Yes! No one expected something like that from Futurama. I think that's part of why it hits so damn hard.

And nice icon! Hehe. Oh Fry.
