random moments of GENIUS!

Oh random, random things. Which I shall make in a list.
1.
Santino is the Wendy Pepper of this season and I love him for it. I had an odd soft spot for Wendy and yes, I have a soft spot for Santino. Does that mean I don't want Daniel V to win? No. And I'm slowly getting more and more impressed with Kara. She's not exceptionally talented, but she's giving the judges what they want now. Kara and Santino designed the most interesting outfits and they weren't the typical makeover outfits either. Um. Anything else? Oh. Nick. Welllll... I like Nick, I really do, but I don't think he should have made it past last week. I think Andrae was more talented than he was, but that's just my opinion. Both of their flower outfits were hideous.
2. I did something to my left shoulder. I say something because I don't know what I did or when. All I know is that the joint is really sore, it's starting to affect the tricep muscle especially, and last night I woke up with extreme pain in my elbow. I wonder if this has anything to do with the weird numbness in my right arm the other day. *shrugs* The left shoulder thing is really starting to make it hard to work a full shift. My job is all repetitive motions and the pain starts to get really bad after a few hours of the same motions over and over again.
3. Paul fucking Gross's music makes me waaaay too happy. It's like giddyness wrapped in dorkiness wrapped in really, really bad country music. I can't stop listening to it and I caught myself singing Paris while walking Milo the other day. He was busy sniffing a bush while I was boogying down to Paris. He just stopped and looked at me like I was the most embarrassing thing on Earth. Which yes. That's pretty damn embarrassing. But omg it's so GOOD. In that not good way of course, but I still love it. :)
4. I managed to bottom out my checking account. Um. Whoops?
5. Milo was a pukey puppy this morning while I was half-asleep and lounging in bed. I heard him start and we went running for the back door. We just barely missed it too. He puked right next to the back door. *sighs* No treats for him. Especially since it looked suspiciously like pumpkin icing. Which was on chocolate cake. Hmm...
6. I burned the roof of my mouth on black bean lasagna last night. I would do it again if it meant I could eat more black bean lasagna. God that was good. I heart my Mommy.
7. I want SNOW, dammit!
8. I give, okay. House and Wilson are MARRIED. I got it. You can STOP throwing it in my face and laughing. I'm sorry I didn't recognize it when the show started, but in all fairness I never watched it. I can't be blamed for not recognizing the slash potential of shows I don't get to see! Stupid work. Also, Gil and Greg are married too. I get that as well. I'm really not that slow.
9. Rodney McKay + John Sheppard = Wuv, Twu Wuv. But only because Radek's got this *thing* for Ronon and can't be bothered with John. Ronon's got cooler hair and really, Radek's kind of shallow sometimes.
10. Yes, I am quite insane.
ETA: 11. Today I sang Voodoo on the walk. I think Milo was attempting to pretend that he really didn't know the person attached to the other end of his leash. I can't wait till I'm the embarrassing parent!

Date: 2006-02-09 05:50 pm (UTC)So I tried Nocturne last night. It was ... interesting. I put dots on the soles of my feet, my wrists, and temples. I could feel myself relaxing and my limbs getting heavy, but it really didn't shut the mind down. Essentially my body went to sleep, but I was still awake. Which is so uncomfortable. I'll have to test it again though.
