I'm making a stand right here and now to say that I will finish the final (unless Sarah says otherwise) version of the SGA story. I've got Nine Muses on my palms, Project Runway is on the tv, and I've already taken the dog out in the snow. I'm going to have a bacon sandwich and finish the *last* section of this fic if it kills me!

The fic, not the bacon sandwich. Nothing but good can come from a bacon sandwich.

And I don't know yet. I've got about half an imp and I've been waiting until I had hours to do nothing but write. The words are coming pretty easily. That's a plus. It kind of smells like coconut soap though.

Okay, your comment really confused me until I realized that I missed the "but" the first time. In that case I totally agree with you. :)

Do you put anything on your bacon sandwich or is it just bacon and bread? Just curious. I'm very interested in food at the moment because I'm really really hungry. And we just worked up a little bit of an appetite. ;) Will's walking down to Wawa right now to get us Fritos Scoops for our leftover chili dip. Numnumnum.

Ooh. Bacon, cheese, and mayo on toast is the way I go with a bacon sandwich. If I had tomato, I would have thrown that on as well.

We were supposed to go out for Valentine's Day today and we're not even trying to dig out. Chris is making us dinner instead. You're lucky that Wawa is just down the street from you. :)

I have half an imp of Nine Muses and I'm guarding it with my *life*. This is the first time I used it and I got done the fic in about ... 30 minutes? I'd say it was a success. :)

Yeah, I was going to do Firefly (it's one of those challenges where you get matched up with a requester - who doesn't know who they're requesting from - and given several choices for what to write, and of the choices, I'd do Firefly or Lotrips, since I've never seen the OC), but time is running short, and I know my monaboyd boys & their "voices" (the fic has to include a love letter) much, much better than Zoe/Wash, which is what I would've had to do in Firefly.

And now I have to run to Mike's nephew's first birthday, and will have to write it late tonight, while I wait for the update. Oh well, it'll keep me out of trouble, I guess! :)

Oh yes! If you're occupied by a fic, you can do less damage during an update. Unless you're running another decant circle again for Maelstrom. Heh. Which if you are, I'm most likely going to be signing up for that. :)

I have two challenge fics to do before April. Thank god for long challenges. One is a RayK fic and one is an SGA fic based off one of the Skippy list sayings. That should be fun. Nothing like getting a prompt that is: "The chicken and rice MRE is not lube."

I got it as a freebie from someone. And it was a complete shock when I got it. The last imp of it on ebay went for over $25. :/
