i want kidfic. i want kidfic badly. my hands are angry because of about 6 out of an 8 hour workday spent on a microscope so i can't actually write my kidfic so rec me other folks kidfic to read! preferrably of the due south or sga or smallville variety. kidfic!

I feel like a failure here: I have no kid!fic to rec, because I think all of the kid!fic I've read and enjoyed in dS, you recced me (or wrote), and in SGA... it's pretty much that story I lured you in with.

Oh! There was one smallville one, though. Which you've probably already read, but let me see if I can find it.

I've read both of those sadly. I'm starting to suspect except for crap kidfic, I've read most of it in those three fandoms. Especially because there's like ... 2 in SGA (lifetime event and a farm in iowa). There needs to be more SGA kidfic!

Yup, read that one as well. :) And yes, McKay with kids. Because he's so tetchy, but you know if he got used to the kid, he'd be so all about them.

It would, of course, be the smartest kid EVER. And it would be able to out-science half the science team by the time it was eight. And stuff. Because impressionable young minds! Rodney could give the impressions that HE wished he'd been given when he was their age.

And yes! The kid would be insufferable, but as the only child on Atlantis, everyone would let it go and just ruffle the hair of the kid which would just upset said kid and Rodney would go on a tear and then no more hair ruffling would occur except by Sheppard because he just doesn't listen anymore when Rodney yells.
