Meet William Edward [last name] Jr. I've decided to call him Liam because I know it'll piss both my sister and the father off. But actually he is a Liam! He was born by C-section after almost 20 hours of labor at 3:52am on February 7th. He weighs 8.475 lbs and is 20 inches long! He was waaay too big to fit though my sister did try. I got to hold him in my arms about 30 minutes after he was born and omg. He's just so cute and cuddly and BIG for an infant. He was really alert, looking around and listening when whomever was holding him was talking to him. He likes bouncing not rocking, thank you very much and is rather fond of sucking on his fingers. Amazingly enough he's healthy aside from having low blood sugar. Considering my sister's diet and activities were about the worst you could do with a baby, he came out looking pretty damn good. Go Liam! Nice job escaping the womb!
This is Liam with his dad, Bill. Ignore Bill though I will say he did a great job during the labor and he was so excited about Liam when he was finally out. At least one of them was interested in him. Leah wanted to see Liam, but she was more interested in the fact she'd be able to drink something soon and that her belly was flat again. *sighs*
I got home this morning at 5:10 am. That's when I wake up in the morning. I drove home in snow and I felt like I had been run over by a truck due to the fact I twisted my back but good while trying to get comfortable in a chair. But it was so worth it when I held him in my arms and touched his face and tiny little fingers.
