ficlets part 2
Apr. 18th, 2007 12:33 pmRay panted heavily, bent over with his hands on his knees. He turned his head a little, looking at Fraser who had the audacity to barely even look winded. Dief flopped down on the ground, panting a little as well, but looking much better than Ray.
"Christ, Fraser," Ray gasped, leaning against the brick wall. "At least pretend you're tired. We just ran three miles."
"I assure you that I am," Fraser said, leaning against the wall as well, his shoulder pressing against Ray's. "You are doing very well keeping up though I do suppose Diefenbaker and I do have a fairly lengthy route on the weekends."
"Yeah well I asked to come along," Ray said, running a hand through his damp hair before stretching his arms high above his head. He looked at Fraser, pausing when he noticed Fraser leaning in, his eyes half-closed and sniffing. "Fraser?"
Fraser's eyes snapped back open and he pulled back, looking guilty. "Yes, Ray?"
"Were you just sniffing me?"
"Ah well..." Fraser cleared his throat and rubbed his eyebrow, looking nervous. "I thought I recognized the scent of lanolin on the brick wall next to - "
"No," Ray cut him off, scowling. "No obstacling me."
"Obfuscate."
"Whatever!" Ray poked Fraser in the chest. "Were you sniffing me?"
Fraser sighed and looked Ray in the eye. "Yes."
"Okay, see. A little honesty goes a long - " Ray's response was muffled as Fraser turned and pushed him against the wall, kissing him thoroughly. Ray's hands fell easily to Fraser's shoulders, holding him close.
Fraser pulled back enough to press his face to the crook of Ray's neck, inhaling deeply. Ray tilted his head back, groaning a little. "Christ, Fraser. You're killing me here."
"You smell so good," Fraser murmured, a hand on the point of Ray's hip.
"Freak."
"Understood Ray," Fraser said, lifting his head and smiling at Ray. "Ready to go again?"
Ray sighed heavily. "Yeah, but when we get back to my apartment, we're picking this back up."
"I should hope so," Fraser grinned widely before taking off, Dief hot on his heels.
Ray just groaned again before running after them.
Next,
House woke with a start, his leg making it perfectly clear that it was time for his 3am Vicodin dose and what had he been thinking when he decided it would be fun to give Chase a blow job in the shower? His left side was pinned down by Chase's body, his head pillowed on House's shoulder. House strained for the bedside table, trying to reach the pills with the tips of his fingers. All he managed to do was knock the bottle of lube onto the ground with a clatter.
Chase didn't budge at the sound so House shoved him off a little rougher than usual. Chase woke up at that, floundering a little in the sheets as he tried to get his bearings.
Chase scowled at him blearily. "Do you always have to shove me?"
"Yes," House said as he fumbled with the bottle, his hands shaking. Chase reached over and took the bottle, opening it with ease. He shook out a pill and held it out to House. "Show off."
"That's what I am," Chase said agreeably as he settled back down, yawning as he snuggled into his pillow.
"Ass," House muttered before lying down again as well. He reached over to rub his hand against Chase's hair, his fingers slipping through the strands easily. He got a pleased noise for his efforts and Chase seemed to snuggle even more into the bedsheets. "Go back to sleep. You've got patients to see at 6am."
"So do you," Chase muttered into the pillow.
"Lies. I'll be in at 9 after I've watched the Today Show. I can't start my day without Al Roker's pithy jokes." House smiled a little before turning and slinging an arm over Chase's back. "Remember to insult Foreman's race and compliment Cameron's legs. It'll be just like I'm there."
All he got was a soft murmur in response from Chase, signaling that Chase wasn't really awake any longer. He could feel the Vicodin taking the edge off his pain and he relaxed against Chase, drifting back to sleep himself.
