once upon a time i could sleep at night. but then last year around thanksgiving, i got really sick and couldn't sleep. i ended up lying on the couch in our living room all night and just sleeping during the day. it was bad. so for the month of december i suffered from severe insomnia. i slept a few hours a night if i was lucky. i would stay up all night then go to class without sleeping. people thought i was insane. my roommates learned how to get me to relax and sleep just a little.

i had to re-teach myself how to sleep at night. it was really, really hard.

i'm doing it again. my sleeping schedule is flipped. i'm going to have to re-teach myself again soon and it hurts.

i like the night. it makes me happy. the day doesn't.
