it's a heat wave....

it's now officially a heat wave in the delaware valley. i think it's actually been one for a few days but i don't pay attention to these things cause yeah...um...still not paying attention to much. i'm already feeling antsy about not working and i would really like to find a new job so i think i might look today as well as (hopefully) go get my car inspected. i'm actually thinking it might be a little too hot to do that. but who knows. it's either that or spend the afternoon on the phone with Drexel trying to get the health insurance stuff figured out.

haven't written in a few days. it's not like i haven't been thinking about it but it just isn't something i've been able to do. seriously contemplating taking a good hard look at Human Behavior and possibly re-writing it as a real story and attempting to get it published. (pipe dream time)

i think i'm going to spend some time with my mom now. or maybe read a little. or something. shower would be good. i dunno.

i missed lj while it was down. realized i am horribly dependant on it for amusement. instead i did other things.

1) chatted with dayse.
2) chatted with lois.
3) picked up the dry cleaning.
4) got gas for my poor, empty car.
5) bleached my hair. it's orange now. it will be something different in a day or so.
6) fixed a number of webpages: crying like a church on monday, little earthquakes, lullabye, mechanical animals, together again, october, mercy, numerous shorts, started split personality.
7) currently eating ice cream while waiting for my nachos to cook. mmm....nachos.

feeling rather odd.

decided that mike's journal is my current favourite journal because he writes in it once a day and tells a little story that makes everything just make perfect sense. i just love getting to read something he's written everyday because mike i think is my favourite writer. because he's good. he's really good.

my sister and her friend decided to watch Girl, Interrupted during my TV time so i missed everything i wanted to watch. which was only Wayne Brady and then Pi which i could put on now but i think i might go back upstairs and play with Photoshop some more since i actually turned my desktop on today. yay me!

wrote about a line of 'The Prettiest Star'(the previously unnamed jc/bowie fic). wrote a few words of 'Water'. yeah. just so not able to write lately. maybe i'll try again tomorrow. i don't know.
