okay. i work in a little family owned hardware store. we're about four blocks from a home depot and they're putting up a loews close by as well. we're only open for five hours on sunday. it's usually our slow day. today, nuh uh. i've worked there for over two years (took a year and a half break though) and i've never experienced a sunday like today. we did the amount of sales that we normally do on a saturday during christmas season or possibly black friday. i'm talking $1300 in credit cards. we never do that.
in other words, i'm exhausted.
went to my boss' house to try and fix her computer. managed to get her connected to the internet again but i can't figure out her speaker system for the life of me. she paid me way too much for the minimal amount of work i did. feel like i should argue but i won't. i need that money. bad.
have lots of papers to write tonight. will do them, dammit!
tomorrow i get dayse back. i hope. must finish that thing we were working on last night. because it's gooooood. :)
i'm going to go eat something and then hunker down to read some stuff and write three short papers.
yay! food...
oh. and still highly embarrassed that i like the Britney cd. so, SO embarrassing. worse than admitting i bought Backstreet a couple of years ago. like, horribly painfully embarrassing.
it hurts.
