I slept really late and it made me really happy. Mmmm...sleep. I do have a lot of work to do today, and I'm pretty sure I can get it done in time. Well, in time isn't exactly a concern since one isn't due until tomorrow and one isn't due until Thursday.

To Do List:
1: Project Britney paper.
2: Outline and write-up for my speech.
3: Make clips of BOMT, Stronger, and IS4U.
4: Send Allecto's money.
5: Shower at some point.
6: Email Chris.
7: Answer feedback.



I'm still tired. I'd like to squeeze a nap in but that's not going to happen. Probably. It depends entirely on whether I go upstairs and do work in bed or not. Also, notice that go to my last Art class is not on the list. Yeah. Not going. Whatever.

Want to play with pretty danceboys instead. But no. I will be strong.

Okay, so here's where my snarky bitterness about Britney bothers me. I'm attempting to write her background using a combination of sources, including VH1's Driven about her. I am really, really trying not to make Britney seem like a child who is so calculating and controlling and able to get her own way but really she was! Good lord. The whole lying about her age at 9 to get on MMC because she knew she was too young? Yeah. That really strikes me a very telling aspect of her personality. Which you know, is kind of nice to have since we really have no clue at all what she's really like. She has better PR people than anyone out there, including Nsync and I think it's safe to say that their PR people are really good. But Britney. You can't get a handle on her because you just never know what's real or not.

I'm 5 pages in and I haven't even gotten a chance to make my real arguments about her role model status. I'm only just now getting to the surveys all you lovely people filled out. All I've done is the background and facts. Definitely not going to be a 5 page paper here. Sorry.

Okay, I understand the point of shows like Buffy and Angel are to leave you hanging so you watch the next episode. The only problem I have with them at the moment is that the episodes are very, very boring until say the last ten minutes when you get the hook to watch next week. And even when you watch next week, the episode is slow and boring until the last ten minutes. I get it, okay. I know the principles of marketing and how to hook your audience and all that crap. My only problem is that I'm really starting to not want to watch the episodes just for the last ten minutes.

Okay, so Kitten is the one who's standing up and has the cute little mohawk and is black and white and brown. Antigone is the one who looks confused. She was the one with the bad leg a couple of months back. See. All better. :)




I really think I should just go to bed and step away from the computer. I haven't really done the speech. I know what I'm going to say but I haven't done the outline yet. I'll do that tomorrow morning before class. [nods] Yeah. That's the stuff.
